In 1975, a select group of business and community
leaders had a vision. That vision was of a fine private city club located high atop the tallest building in the heart of the
city. They wanted to create “a place of privilege where Members will receive good food, personal service & enjoy
a sky-high view of Chattanooga.” Unlike other clubs, membership would be available to all individuals without consideration
of their race, sex, creed or lineage. They felt that Chattanooga needed and deserved a fine club that crossed these barriers.
Today, the Walden Club reflects the
highest aspirations of its founders. It provides a special place for Members to enjoy their social and business activities.
The Walden Club’s facilities were completely renovated in 2001-2002 at a cost of $1,000,000. We now offer formal &
casual dining rooms at lunch and dinner, each with their own special menus. The addition of casual dining gives Members even
more opportunities to use their Club!
